ภาพยนตร์ดังกล่าว มี คุณ Tsurumaki Kazuya (FLCL, Evangelion) เป็นผู้กำกับ, คุณ Enokido Yoji (อูเทนะ พลิกฟ้าตามหารัก, FLCL) ทำหน้าที่ดูแลภาพรวมกับเขียนบท ร่วมด้วย คุณ ANNO Hideaki (Evangelion, Shin Godzilla) มาร่วมเป็นผู้เเขียนบทสมทบ, คุณ Take (ตำนานรักดาบเทวะ, Zaregoto) รับหน้าที่เป็นผู้ออกแบบตัวละคร, และ คุณ Yamashita Ikuto (Evangelion, Shin Masked Rider) รับหน้าที่เป็นผู้ออกแบบเครื่องจักร
กรุงเทพฯ, 19 มกราคม 2025 ทาง บริษัท ดรีม เอกซ์เพรส (เดกซ์) จำกัด ได้ทำการประกาศว่า ทางบริษัทได้รับสิทธิ์ในการฉายและจัดจำหน่ายภาพยนตร์ Mobile Suit Gundam GquuuuuuX – Beginning – ในโรงภาพยนตร์ประเทศไทยช่วงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ที่จะถึงนี้ และจะมีการเปิดฉายภาพยนตร์รอบปฐมทัศน์ ภายในงานเทศกาลภาพยนตร์ JAMNIME Festival 2025 ที่จะจัดขึ้นช่วงวันที่ 7-9 กุมภาพันธ์ ปี 2025 ในโรงภาพยนตร์ 5 แห่ง
โปรเจคท์ภาพยนตร์ Mobile Suit Gundam GquuuuuuX – Beginning – เปิดตัวครั้งแรกในประเทศญี่ปุ่น เมื่อวันที่ 4 ธันวาคม ปี 2024 ที่เวลานั้นมีการเผยภาพของตัวละคร, กับเครื่องจักร, และเปิดเผยตัวอย่างภาพยนตร์ ส่วนเนื้อหาของภาพยนตร์ Mobile Suit Gundam GquuuuuuX – Beginning – ที่จะเปิดตัวในโรงภาพยนตร์นั้น เป็นการนำเอาเนื้อหาจากอนิเมะ ‘Mobile Suit Gundam GquuuuuuX’ ฉบับซีรีส์ที่จะฉายทางโทรทัศน์ในอนาคต ซึ่งเปิดตัวในวันเดียวกัน มาตัดต่อใหม่ ตัวภาพยนตร์มีกำหนดการเข้าฉายในประเทศญี่ปุ่น วันที่ 17 มกราคม 2025 ส่วนฉบับซีรีส์ยังไม่มีการประกาศกำหนดการฉาย
เรื่องย่อ
อามาเทะ ยูซุริฮะ สาวน้อยวัยมัธยมปลาย ผู้ใช้ชีวิตอันแสนสงบสุขอยู่ในสเปซโคโลนี่ที่ล่องลอยอยู่ในอวกาศ ได้พบกับ เนี้ยง สาวน้อยผู้ลี้ภัยจากสงคราม ทำให้ อามาเทะ เข้าไปพัวพันกับการแข่งขันต่อสู้ด้วยโมบิลสูทผิดกฎหมายอย่าง แคลนแบทเทิล
อามาเทะใช้ชื่อในการแข่งขันว่า “มาชู” ขึ้นขับ GQuuuuuuX และทุ่มเทกับการแบทเทิลอันดุเดือดวันแล้ววันเล่า ในขณะเดียวกัน กันดั้มลึกลับที่ถูกไล่ล่าโดยกองทัพอวกาศและตำรวจก็มาปรากฏตัวต่อหน้าเธอ พร้อมกับ ชูจิ เด็กหนุ่มนักบิน ของหุ่นตัวนั้น

Film is directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki (FLCL, “Evangelion” Series) Series Supervision and Screenplay by Yoji Enokido (Revolutionary Girl Utena, FLCL) with Hideaki ANNO (“EVANGELION” Series, Shin Godizlla) will join as additonal screenwriter Illustrator Take (Katanagatari, Zaregoto) serves as character designer, with Ikuto Yamashita (“EVANGELION” Series, Shin Masked Rider) as the mechanic designer.
BANGKOK, 16 January 2025, DEX Dream Express announce today it has acquried theatricial distribution rights for Thailand to theatrical film Mobile Suit Gundam GquuuuuuX – Beginning- , DEX will release the film in Thailand theaters in February, Prior to the theatrical release, we will have premiere screening in JAMNIME Festival 2025 that will be held from 7-9 February 2025 in 5 locations.
The project was first announced in Japan on December 4th, with character and mechanical designs, as well as theatrical trailer revealed. The film “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX – Beginning-“ is a theatrical debut using re-edited episodes from the upcoming TV series, “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX”, announced at the same time. The theatrical film will be released in Japan on January 17th, 2025. Release information for the upcoming series has yet to be announced.
Synopsis
Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space. When she meets a war refugee named Nyaan, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle.
Under the entry name “Machu,” she throws herself into fierce battle day after day, piloting the GQuuuuuuX. Then an unidentified Gundam mobile suit pursued by both the space force and the police appears before her, along with its pilot, a boy named Shuji.
Now their world is about to enter a new era.
